Barred Owl – This trail is a favorite of many visitors and extends through all three eco-zones of the park and is completely shaded. There is a grove of sycamore trees and a few spectacular Bodard trees. In springtime the wild onions on this trail provide a unique aroma.
From the roadside parking by the tent loop, follow the trail as it winds through a shaded forest and enjoy several stunning vistas of the Brazos River along the way.
