A wide path leads you from the hardwood forest of the amphitheater to the bottoml and forest of the Brazos River.
This trail has two main segments. The northern portion travels through bottomland forest which is remarkably free of undergrowth. Check out the abundant understory plants such as wild oats. There is a covered bench at the halfway point.
